Carney is saying the same words that Freeland used, which shows how little regard we should give him.

We have spent the last ten years laboring under Modern Monetary Theory which is not an economic theory it is an alibi for those who want to spend spend spend.

It failed spectacularly and will continue to fail.

They are going to borrow and throw it away on useless green crap same as the last ten years, that’s why Guillbeault is still there running and has not quit in disgust.

Because his economy destroying plan will continue

There are all sorts of questions “economist” Carney should have been asked but wasn’t.

Such as, “real economists that support carbon taxes state that in return you eliminate all caps, regulations and red tape and let the tax work. Why aren’t you doing what real economists advise”?

But, since most Canadians can’t read, they think Carney represents change.

Endless fools wanting nothing more than to be lied to.

Don't forget to mention the textbook DISASTER CAPITALISM USING MKULTRA SHOCK THERAPY FOR ASSET-STRIPPING OF CANADIANS DURING THE FAKE PANDEMIC.

Carney uses word salads, that simply sound more intelligent than Trudeau's but its all the same bullshit.

Yes and OTHER WORD SALADS are successfully used to confirm the biases of conservatives within the fake 2-party paradigm....leading them into the same Stargate AI-mRNA open-air digital prison which connects us to the Internet of Bio-Nano Things and the WBAN.

Neither side zooms out to see the fake 2-party paradigm is used to brainwash their team into cheering for the same policies just using different talking points. If the Conservative Party was actually fighting for Canadians then, the VAST MAJORITY OF CONSERVATIVES would NOT have taken multiple doses of experimental modified mRNA Gene Therapy platform injections which change gene expression BUT THEY DID. Slavish obedience to corrupt power (authority) ON BOTH R & L is the biggest problem.

The cure for this overspending malady is to trim wings of the Liberals with another minority government. (Assuming that they go ahead and win the most seats.)

The Conservative vote is holding steady under the pressure of Trump politics. The only room for the Liberals to go up is by poaching the progressive vote from the left, far left. Which they have done, much to the detriment of the NDP and Bloc. The poaching strategies are seen in the vague support for pipelines, the refusal to abandon C-69 and refusal to cut the emissions caps on oil and gas production. The environmental voters are a significant demographic in big urban areas and Carney is happy to court their vote.

I’ve always felt that folks who oppose mining and oil production should decline any medical care unless it uses stone-age instruments and candle light.

So fed up with the Liberal agenda and overspend!

Beware all ye voters you get the government you vote for.

Another 4 years of Liberals spend, spend, spend will be even more devastating for this country.

Nothing is free and if Liberals stay in power brace yourself for escalating taxes!

Good economic analysis. Sadly, CPC have repeatedly shot themselves in the foot when it comes to the non-economically analytic sensibilities of average Canadians.

For example, Danielle Smith suggested PP was more "in sync" with Trump. Since many Canadians view Trump as a threat, a moron, would-be dictator and serial sexual predator, this was not a ringing endorsement.

And many Canadians – myself included - find the antics of the Rebel News and Moron Convoy crowd extremely distasteful. I personally believe that PP is highly decent person with a sharp mind and good analytical economic skills. But he's been tainted with the Trumpish stain ... ironically by his own supporters.

First, the comment was made to an American audience and Smith suggested that Poilievre might be more in sync with the Administration. It was also before the on again - off again tariffs were implemented. The purpose was to try to inject reason into the discussion, not inflame the issue.

Second, Canadians seeing Trump as a threat is due to the Liberal Party creating the current 'trade war' crisis and amplified by our media. His personal attributes aside, he is the lawfully elected leader of our largest trading partner with whom our economy is deeply intertwined and the 'elbows up' and 'fight' rhetoric did nothing except result in escalation. The Liberals knee-jerk reaction of applying retaliatory tariffs (one of two countries to do so, the other being China) instead of remaining calm, which is what a good leader would have done is why we are in this 'crisis'.

Finally, if you consider the antics of the 'Moron Convoy' distasteful, what do you think of the antics of those that take part in 'protests' that the Liberals endorse, the ones where the participants are actually calling for the destruction of of society and our country? To quote one of our so-called academics from one of our universities after Hamas invaded Israel, 'this is de-colonization in action.' Words have meaning and that meaning does not change when they are used against different people.

Trump’s “personal attributes” are a global threat. Andrew Coyne in G&M said it best: “The United States has handed the nuclear codes to a madman, a criminal, a would-be dictator and a moron, all in the same person.”

Most Canadians are repulsed by Trump and his followers. The election of a boastful sexual predator to President was a failed referendum on the character of the American electorate.

The Moron Convoy anti-vaxers and pro-Hamas sympathizes are similar: both are ignorant and gullible. The hallmark of the anti-vax movement was cowardice in the face of public service. The hallmark of Hamas supporters is anti-semitism. Both equally contemptible.

The CPC managed to convert a massive polling lead into a likely Liberal victory. Let’s see the actual election outcome. As NFL legend Bill Purcell said: “You are what the scoreboard says you are.”

You sound fake "vaccinated" with the experimental modified mRNA Gene Therapy platform toxic shit.

Peaceful protest, like the Trucker's Convoy is protected speech under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms which you haven't read. Your slavishly obedient compliance to tyranny is the biggest problem we face. No go get your 8th booster if you want to keep your job and feed your kids you closeted authoritarian.
