I certainly don’t believe our PM has to be fluent in both French and English, but to me that’s not what this is about.

As noted above, the Liberals are the party that foisted these written and unwritten rules on us, it’s pathetic that when they decide to ignore the rules they create they think they just get a pass?

It is quite interesting, Carney's French was one of the first things I thought of when he was plugged as Liberal leader and potential PM, so I Google searched it and the answer that I got was that Carney was perfectly bilingual, as comfortable in French as he was in English. I didn't look much further after that, took as a fact... a now this. The Liberals and the media are such hypocrites. I remember, I believe it was when Andrew Sheer was selected as Conservative Party leader and his French apparently did pass the high standards of the Liberals and the media and there were questions about his ability. Another thing .with Sheer as well, the media and the Liberals again made a big deal about him having duo citizenship -- Canada and the US. (I wish). But Carney has two other passports besides Canadian and not a peep. We live in a country where the media is controls by one party ... the Liberals and it is beholding to them ... thus they will do everything to keep them in power. When media is controlled by the ruling class... democracy dies, and dies fast.

You forgot to mention that both are Catholic. Scheer spent the whole election answering time and again the same question about his personal position about abortion, no matter how many times he would reply that it wasn't relevant because he wouldn't introduce legislation on the topic regardless. Don't hold your breath waiting for a "journalist" to keep pressing on that topic with Carney. After all, he is the one paying their salaries...

Last time I checked being Catholic was still allowed in Canada. If the Liberals manage to steal a fourth term, that could change. I’m thinking that could be a selling point to the Tesla vandalizing and their supporters demographic who are being silently promoted and applauded by Canada’s Liberal owned and operated media. Be careful what you wish for.

That’s all the dirt you can find. Low bar compared to Carney… WEF clown, Epstein affiliate, won’t reveal finances, lied about moving Brookfield assets when he did, lied about his ability to speak French, hasn’t lived in Canada for at least a decade, has financial and god knows what other ties to China… will break this country with the net zero climate bullshit.

BOTH of them are puppets for the banks, corporations and intelligence agencies.

I refuse to vote for either of these liars in a fixed system.

If your only argument is "my chosen liar is better than the other team's chosen liar" then, you are participating in a broken system.

Well if you don't participate than you can only blame yourself. Or are still voting for the other liars in the NDP or the Green Party?

Again, your argument is equivalent to the baby brother fighting for the fake, unplugged stearing wheel while his older brothers play the real video game.

ALL of the political parties aided and abetted Covid-19 crimes against humanity.

The vast majority of Conservatives took 2 doses of experimental modified mRNA Gene Therapy platform injections which change gene expression. Many have taken boosters. If your blue team was so much better than the red team this would not have happened. Also, NONE of the parties will admit to the devastating effects of Covid-19 policies, treason, racketeering, extortion, genetic-editing, premeditated murder and crimes against humanity. The game is FIXED. Stop participating in it. All elections are fraudulent.

Nobody hates the Liberals more than rightfully non-compliant workers like me who were violently assaulted by Vancouver Police at work, permanently injured, handcuffed, placed in a police van, wrongfully fired, lost 11 years of future income, my benefits and fully half of my Maximum Pension for my refusal to wear a mask on August 17th, 2022 WHEN NO PROVINCIAL OR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MASK MANDATES WERE IN EFFECT. I have never been charged with a crime. We are in the middle of an election campaign and NOT ONE WORD is uttered by candidates about the egregious Covid-19 military operation crimes against humanity which enabled the elimination of hundreds of thousands of Canadians from government pensions, payrolls and benefits thus ERASING THOSE GOVERNMENT LIABILITIES and maximizing stakeholder profits. THIS WAS A BAIL-IN VIA DISASTER CAPITALISM USING MKULTRA SHOCK THERAPY.

The Covid-19 military operation simultaneously enabled the injection/implantation of Canadians with nanotechnology biosensors embedded in masks, tests and jabs for surveillance under the skin via the Internet of Bio-Nano Things contrary to Sections 184(1) and 430(5) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Which is why you should vote Conservative as they're the only party that has a chance of punishing the Liberals for everything they've done over the last ten years by getting them out of power. There's plenty I disagree with Pollievre about, but he's the only realistic alternative to Carney and the rest of the Liberal cretins who supported Trudeau for so long.

This guy set up a $15 billion fund at Brookfield that operates on a carried interest model, meaning he gets a cut of the profits. The fund is invested in green energy projects—that Carney will make government policy.

Putting it in a blind trust doesn’t matter at this point if policies he enacts as prime minister increase his own wealth.

What am I missing here? “Look inside yourself”? Really?

You are incorrect. Way too many Canadians are willing to bear any amount of humiliation in order to not vote for the conservatives. With the swing in Liberal fortunes it really tells you just how much Canadians hated Trudeau. They hated him even more than they hated Poilievre.

Lark Carney is Canada’s Miller Lite version of Hans Gruber - as far as the Laurentian elite are concerned Canadians just have to decide whether he tastes great or is less full of himself than Sophie Gregoire’s Instagram account.

I note that senior Liberal Cabinet ministers from Quebec took a pass on the leadership contest because of their undying loyalty to Canada. They certainly couldn’t abandon Canada in such a dark hour. Unstated was the fact that by Liberal convention it was English Canada’s “turn” to have the Prime Ministership.

However, Cabinet ministers like Ms. Joly and others flatly stated that whoever it was must be fluent in French and “understand” Quebec.

I think about these terms of entry lately, as Ms. Joly was one of the first high profile Cabinet ministers from Quebec to jump on the Carney bandwagon. Did she get her fluently bilingual leader? After Carney flunked the litmus test for gun control politics in Quebec, does Joly still think he “understands” the needs of a finicky province?

I think the voters are (again) being told what to think. The only constant is change, and given the reality, what actual options are available and not what we’d like in theory, the second language issue moves to the back of the bus.

As for the French language debate, why would Carney waste his time pretending, leave that for smaller minds if they so choose, on any topic, and admit the facts - Carney does not speak French. The voters will decide if that’s ok.

Carney parle français comme une vache irlandaise. Half the time it’s barely comprehensible—somewhere between Joe Clark and weathered tourists. But more than just fearing his shortcomings in the other federal official language, he likely wants to shield himself from the uncomfortable questions. In English Canada, he promises pipelines to the Four Strong Winds, but asked about them in the Other Solitude, he risks walking sideway into Blanchet’s crosshairs exposing the sneaky double talk.

More speculation and asset-stripping which will result in a pump and dump leaving pensioners holding the tsunami of debt accrued during the FAKE PANDEMIC which enabled the elimination of hundreds of thousands of RIGHTFULLY NON-COMPLIANT Canadians from government pensions, payrolls and benefits thus, ERASING THOSE GOVERNMENT LIABILITIES and maximizing stakeholder profits while simultaneously injecting Canadians with nanotechnology biosensors embedded in masks, tests and GENE THERAPY jabs for surveillance under the skin via the Internet of Bio-Nano Things contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
